Josh (Youth Rocks), presented by Smt Anita and produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations introduces Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, son of Nagarjuna and grandson of thespian Akkineni Nageswara Rao, as hero.
Kaarthika; daughter of yesteryears’ heroine Radha, is the heroine. Directed by Vasu Varma the audio of Josh was launched at a grand gala function held in Hyderabad recently. Assembly speaker Kirankumar Reddy released the audio CDs and handed over the first and second pieces to Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Dr D Ramanaidu.
Later, K Raghavendra Rao released the audiocassettes and handed over the copies to Mohanbabu, Nandamuri Balakrishna, and Venkatesh. Sandeep Chowtha scored music for the movie and Aditya Music is marketing the audio.
Speaking on the occasion, Nagarjuna says, ‘My father and Ramanaidu are living legends of the Telugu film industry. I and Venky could not reach their stature. However, we wish our boy Naga Chaitanya earns a good name and fame than all of us. When Chaitu expressed his interest towards acting, I thought of bringing out a film on my own. But at the same time, Dil Raju came up with a wonderful subject and hence I gave him the responsibility to launch my son.’ The film is most likely to be released in August. - Sampurn Media |

Actress Nayanthara- ‘Queen of controversies’ is going through unfortunate moments with persistent flops in box office. In the past couple of years many producers had to drop her out of projects, as she never compromised about reducing salary, despite her market falling flat. Even her Telugu films had failed terribly and no one came forward with any offers.
Apart from Surya’s ‘Aadhavan’, Nayan has no films in Kollywood. But fortune seems to have knocked her doors in Tollywood now. Kodi Ramakrishna who had recently made a grandiloquent flick ‘Arundhathi’ has roped her for a film based on same genre. Sources have revealed that it would be a bilingual film simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu with Nayanthara in lead role. - R. Richard Mahesh/ Sampurn Media |

Madrid - A 28-year-old Ecuadorian immigrant living in Spain has put her virginity on sale on the internet, the daily El Mundo reported Tuesday in its online edition.
"Evelyn" said she was depressed over her decision, but that her salary as a part-time cleaning lady was not sufficient to cover her mother's medical treatment back in Ecuador.
The young woman living in the eastern city of Valencia has received dozens of offers, the highest of which amounted to 2.3 million euros (3.2 million dollars).
She rejected the offer, because the man in question wanted to become her steady boyfriend. Prostitution is semi-legal in Spain. |

Los Angeles - Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is working its magic on the global box office. The latest movie about the boy wizard earned 104 million dollars on its debut Wednesday - 58.18 million dollars in North America and 45.85 million internationally - distributor Warner Bros said.
The US opening day take was the second largest ever for a midweek debut, trailing last month's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen with 62 million dollars.
The tally for the sixth film in the Harry Potter series broke a record for the 4.5-billion-dollar franchise. The previous movie, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, had first-day US receipts of 44.2 million dollars and went on to gross 937 million dollars worldwide.
"Quite simply, we owe this record-breaking opening to the remarkable fans who have stood by us and who stood in line to be among the first to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," Warner Bros President and Chief Operating Officer Alan Horn said in a statement.(dpa)
